Candidate eligible for gastric banding are those who Body Mass Index (BMI) is over 30 kg/sq.m. with comorbid diseases (such as diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, etc.) and those who are over 35 kg/sq.m. with or without comorbid are eligible to this procedure. |
